AddressWe have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced and qualified Health and Safety Officer in our Yornup-Picton office for our Plantation Harvesting and Haulage company
The responsibilities include:
- Punctual & motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Coordinate and implement WHS policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance, including safety audits and toolbox meetings on site.
- Ensure all work health & safety protocols are followed.
- Incident investigation and improvement recommendations
- Full function Worker's Compensation and Return to Work co-ordination.
- Maintenance of the Safety Management System including arranging training for staff
- Assessing workplace hazards and risks
- Maintaining incident register, incident reports and complying with WorkSafe WA legislation
- Inducting new staff and contractors
- Workplace drug and alcohol testing certification (or willing to obtain)
- Proficient in Microsoft suite skills particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Available for immediate start.
