About the ROLE
Currently operating over multiple sites in WA, Dynamic Drill and Blast are experiencing further expansion. Due to this we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Field Officer to join our team onsite on an 8&6 roster.
This role will support the operational site HSE requirements and coach field leaders to ensure quality, safety, leadership and compliance with HSE systems. Your efforts will directly contribute to the safety and well-being of our personnel and the successful execution of our projects. Duties and responsibilities for this role include;
- Reinforce HSE compliance in daily operations
- Conduct field inspections and Safe Act Observations with operational leaders
- Assist in incident management, investigation, and evidence collection
- Develop and deliver HSE information and training sessions
- Assist and coach leaders in hazard management and risk assessment
- Support the use of HSE data recording software
- Conduct HSE Management System audits and recommend action plans
- Advise on legislative requirements and safe work methods
- Facilitate risk assessments and safety audits
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and build client relationships
- Ensure all personnel are adequately trained and licensed
About YOU
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- Root Cause Analysis methodology certification (ICAM® preferred)
- Excellent understanding of safe operating procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong technical skills
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills
