About the Role
Based in Sydney, this individual will take a leading position to provide support across a large portfolio of operational solar and BESS projects. This position will suit an ambitious and eager engineer, with experience in renewable energy projects from an operational perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Closely monitoring plant performance and ensure the plant PR and availability are maintained within the contractual requirements
- Assisting Field Technicians in maintenance procedures
- Support power plant activities by ensuring real time monitoring of production and operational events, fostering events management according to guidelines provided by O&M Improvement units at global level, detecting potential improvements to the operations and maintenance.
- Deliver scopes as required in the O&M Services Contracts with strategic partnerships
- Effectively coordinate with internal & external stakeholders
- Relevant degree in Engineering (need to have Electrical)
- Minimum 2 years experience within the renewable energy space in a service and maintenance function (need to have utility solar)
- Electrical background in PV generating systems or in maintenance
- Office based but flexibility to travel to site when needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a service environment, working with control systems that include PLC's, communication systems, switchgear and power generation hardware
- Essential knowledge of renewable energy systems, O&M processes, contract management and economic principles
