Role & responsibilities
- Monitor and record incoming satellite and IP feed sources
- Edit news bulletins in line with broadcast formats and operational guidelines
- Resolve reporting equipment and broadcast anomalies as required
- Presentation of programs and related material, adhering to station schedules and timings
- Making schedule modifications to manage emergencies or changing transmission needs
- Maintain the output of the station’s network channels via the network automation playlists
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
Skills & experience
- Experience with editing video and audio and relevant standards will be highly regarded
- High degree of computer literacy and proven experience with Microsoft Office products
