WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
As a pivotal member of our team, your role encompasses various crucial responsibilities. To begin, you'll delve into category knowledge, conducting thorough online research and collaborating closely with the Purchasing team to comprehend customer shopping behaviours. Overseeing online visual merchandising across multiple websites, you'll ensure alignment with brand guidelines for digital marketing campaigns.
Your role extends to establishing high standards for product information sourced from suppliers by researching product specifications across all categories. Actively engaged in site maintenance, you'll keep content fresh and engaging, implementing updates in navigation, search optimisation, and product pages. Building a profound understanding of customer needs and industry competition through customer and competitor research will be integral to your role. Employing data analysis, you'll scrutinise visitor behaviours and customer journeys, informing visual communication strategies that prioritise the customer.
Collaboration is essential as you partner with Purchasing, Marketing, and Engineering teams to support website improvement initiatives. Always on the lookout for opportunities, you'll contribute to enhancing website content, functions, and existing processes in tandem with broader business objectives. In this dynamic role, you'll play a vital part in shaping the online shopping experience and driving data-informed business decisions.
YOU WILL NEED...
- 2+ years' experience within an eCommerce or eCommerce merchandising role that is centered around CX and customer journey
- To be a multi-tasker - so you MUST be able to jump from project to project without dropping the ball
- To LOVE data and the ability to make recommendations based on deep data analysis
- To be Passionate about understanding consumer behaviour and improving customer experience
- Experience with web analytics tools - e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Analytics
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Programmes - EXCEL is non-negotiable, we need the ability to create the likes of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
