The Opportunity
Bulk Fuel Australia is a specialist in delivering petroleum products on-site directly into plant and equipment to industries such as major civil, construction, energy, marine, rail, and agriculture.
BFA commenced its operations in 2009 with a fleet of 6 MR trucks and through its focus on customer service and employee development, it has grown its fleet to well over 50 medium and heavy rigid vehicles, plus light refuelling vehicles, and onsite tanks. Originally Queenlsand-based, we have also developed significant operational footprints in Melbourne and Sydney
We now have a new opportunity for MR/HR drivers with multi-drop experience for roles based in Rocklea. This full-time role will have some flexibility in the rosters plus plenty of overtime hours available across the week. The successful candidate may also be required to work a regular Saturday OR Sunday shift as part of their weekly roster.
The roles require physically fit individuals with strong attention to detail, a minimum 2 years driving at least a medium rigid vehicle, a strong safety mindset, and a focus on customer service excellence.
Though not essential, candidates with prior fuel experience will be viewed favourably.
In a nutshell, we're searching high and low for candidates with the following:
- Medium Rigid Licence (minimum)
- Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence - preferred not required
- Safe Load Pass (SLP) certificate - preferred not required
- The ability to work a flexible 24/7 roster Monday to Sunday (at times)
- A strong focus on safety and task management
- Solid physical capability to climb up and down machinery
- Fuel experience (ideal)
- Mechanical knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An ability to use software and IT systems (Android)
