About the role:
The Finance Business Partner to the HFAPAC Shared Services & Transformation will be responsible for supporting the team in achieving operational and strategic goals. A key focus is to provide expert analytical modelling an insights for all operational costs encompassing operating costs (opex) and investment costs (capex).
The role will work together with key stakeholders in the Procurement, IT, Canteen, PMO functions of the business, together with analysis and reporting on all other costs that form the Shared Services operating costs.
They will embody the Hilton core values, being a role model for all employees. They will be the Finance lead for all activities relating to HFAPAC’s procurement, IT and Canteen expenditure.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop detailed performance reporting for all packaging and spend consumption across APAC. Including
- Price variance analysis versus budget.
- Usage variance versus budget/standard.
- Support financial analysis of all Procurement related activity. Eg contract tenders, NPD.
- Maintain the PIR’s (Purchase Info Records) to reflect current costs of all inventoried materials and minimise AP matching variances.
- Perform financial validations and evaluations of cost reduction initiatives to support the HFAPAC cost reduction program.
- Partner with Cost Centre owners to manage expenditure versus budget and ensure stakeholders are aware the drivers of variances to budget on a MTD and YTD basis.
- Partner with Cost Centre owners to forecast costs for the balance of the financial year.
- Own the preparation and key assumptions applied to annual budgets for IT operating costs, procurement pricing for purchased items and key overhead spend contracts eg utilities, cleaning, and Shared Services overheads.
- Manage the administration of invoicing issues with suppliers and credit returns/claims.
- Weekly/Monthly reporting on performance versus budget/standard.
- Development and improvement of existing reporting through Business Intelligence tools.
- Support Business Case development for Continuous improvement and growth projects, including projects that require capital.
- Adhoc support to the Transformation and Finance teams as required.
