Do you have a passion for plants and gardens? Do you want to live in one of the most idyllic locations in Australia? Then come join us in the Whitsundays! We are looking for an onsite Caretaker Couple (2 positions) to join our nursery and landscape supply business in the idyllic Whitsundays. These are hands-on roles living on site working on a rotating roster with other staff, this position will involve weekend work, minimum 12-month commitment. Includes 2 bedroom house as part of package.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills
- MR license, forklift and loader ticket desirable
- Nursery experience required
- Basic maintenance skills
- Knowledge of plants, irrigation, pest and disease required.
- Qualifications in landscaping or horticulture (an advantage)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Propagation and other Nursery tasks
- Potting, Weeding, Watering
- Unpacking pallets and stock requiring manual handling
- Customer service
- Garden maintenance and groundskeeper duties
- Loading and delivery of landscape material supplies
- General maintenance
