Our Construction division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.
We are currently seeking a Crane operator with experience working in a construction environment, to join our team in Mount Gambier. The successful candidate will hold a Construction White Card (General Construction Induction Card), and an Open Crane (CO) Licence with a minimum of 2 years practical experience. Dogging and Rigging HRW licence an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
- Selection, inspection, and preparation of appropriate rigging equipment
- Inspection and preparation of loads
- Manoeuvre loads using heavy equipment and manually
- Rigging equipment maintenance
- Interpret plans and set out
- Steel erection
- Small site fabrication tasks
- Crane operation (CO)
- Communicating with the Rigging and Construction team
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and safety
This is a full-time permanent position within our team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
