AddressCrane/Semi-Truck Driver Location: Marleston, South Australia Employment Type: Casual position offering fulltime hours (one month with possibility of extension) Rate:$56-$57 ordinary day rate + Allowances + Super Shifts: 06:00AM - 14:30PM, with overtime as required Utilise your mechanical background as a Crane/Semi-Truck Driver for SA Power Networks. This role involves the operation of both mobile cranes and semi-trucks, with a focus on delivering generators and providing crane services to various sites across the state. The successful candidate will have a mechanical mindset, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work away when required. Benefits:

Duties:
- Operate mobile crane and semi-truck to transport generators and equipment to different sites across the state.
- Conduct daily operations of both crane and semi-truck, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Load semi-truck using crane when necessary, ensuring proper securing of loads for transportation.
- Perform crane works on-site, including lifting and lifting off generators as required.
- Perform general GSW works, which may include running cables and digging trenches.
- Provide general duties on-site, such as installation and maintenance tasks, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with substation access and handling dangerous goods protocols.
- Work in coordination with SA Power Networks and adhere to their safety and operational guidelines.
Whatwe want from you:
- Valid crane and semi-truck driver's license (B-Double licence) (Essential)
- Experience operating mobile cranes and semi-trucks
- Understanding of general construction works, including cable running and trench digging.
- Availability for overtime work where required
- Flexibility -You will be required to participate in a rotating stand-by roster.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality.
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence (Essential)
- Ability to pass National Police Check, and drug and alcohol test (Essential)
- Ability to pass full medical check (must be able to lift up to 20kg) (Essential)
