Kings Ningaloo Reef and Whale Sharks Tours offer tours on the Ningaloo Reef.

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences while fostering a deeper appreciation for marine conservation and education.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Open Water Diving Instructor (Marine Tour Guide) for the winter season (March - October).

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and guide engaging and informative in-water and on deck marine tours, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the marine environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the tour.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of marine life and conservation principles.
• Assist in the maintenance and presentation of the vessels and equipment to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Contribute to the overall success of the operation, ensuring guests have a memorable and educational experience throughout its entirety.
• Ensure the safety of guests by strictly adhering to safety and marine park protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in marine tourism or a related field.
• Bus driver License
• Coxswain certificate
• Skipper ticket
• Speak minimum 3 languages
• First aid, Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy Training certificates
• Food handler training program certificate
• Humpback Whale interaction and Whale Shark interaction training course certificate
• Knowledge of chemicals for cleaning
• Seamanship I&II certificate
• Seasurvival I&II certificate
• Dive Master qualification or higher
• Demonstrated vessel and rope skills knowledge
• Passion for customer service and the ocean
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
• Marine qualifications and experience
• Hospitality experience
• Knowledge and past experience of food preparation
• Some mechanical knowledge is preferred but not essential

Further Information:

• Position (35-38 hours per week)
• $73,150 - $80,000 per year
