Operating Theatre Technician Clinical Educator
- Permanent Full Time position working 80 hours per fortnight including monthly ADO. (That's and additional day off once a month!)

Your new team:
Reporting to the Support Services Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to Perioperative Services across all Surgical Specialties, including but not limited to, in-service education, development and delivery of training programs, competency assessments, supervision of novice Technicians, student placements and staff development education.
Your new role:
- provide high quality learning opportunities using arange of modalities which support and enable Technicians to practice as safe, confident and accountable professionals.
- you will have experience across all surgical specialities and are dedicated to providing great service to patients
- Work with a highly skilled team demonstrating flexibility and a solution focused approach to learning and development within the team
- Promote and assist with educational initiatives
- Provide individual assessment and ongoing review of staff performance, identifying learning requirements
About you:
- Certificate IV specialising in Operating Theatre Technician (GR5)
- Extensive clinical experience and expertise in the field, no less than 5 years
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or relevant tertiary qualification in education is highly desirable
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in education/clinical education
- You will be motivated and enthusiastic will a willingness to accept challenges to support the team
