Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week ** Multiple Positions Available
Work a 9 day fortnight
Salary Range $58,175.52 - $67,609.36 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications)

The Opportunity
Wingecarribee Shire Council's Water Services branch is seeking motivated and hands on Crew Members to join its Infrastructure Maintenance team. The Infrastructure Maintenance section is responsible for the construction, maintenance and quality assurance of Council's road assets. This position can include working across different work teams to meet business needs, assisting in a variety of routine manual labour and skilled tasks.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in construction and/or maintenance (roads and drainage) operation of small handheld tools, equipment and machinery relevant to the field equipment.
Proven ability to follow instructions within a team environment, and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devises effectively, embracing digital solutions for work activities to enable field productivity and scheduling based systems to facilitate day-to-day operations.
Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services.
Hold and maintain C Class Drivers Licence, Traffic Control Combo ticket and WHS induction card with a willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment Level 1 Accredited Chainsaw course.
