Purpose of the Role
With a significant volume of risk management and regulatory governance required to be implemented, the Operational Risk Analyst will be providing support to the Risk Manager. You will be supporting the delivery & tracking of the Risk & Governance components of the Motor Network as well as supporting operational leaders to focus on delivery and management of business and execution as required.
Position Accountabilities
- Supporting the development and implementation of the Motor Claims strategic plan while ensuring compliance with relevant legislative & regulatory requirements including industry codes
- Executing best practice by embedding suitable risk governance practices
- Maintaining strong engagement across all levels of the leadership team from frontline leader to the executive team
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and driving improved execution and risk management across the business
Knowledge and Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of Risk Governance structures and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to support teams through transformational change, and excellent relationship building skills to engage stakeholders
- Experience in strategic planning, facilitation, liaison, time management and team organisation with advanced reporting/analysis skills
- Strong communication skills along with proven negotiation skills
