Food Services located at Townsville University Hospital are seeking a client focused Operational Services Officer for a permanent part-time vacancy, working 44 hours per fortnight.
The position is responsible for meal production, service and delivery of the Townsville University Hospital kitchen and to ensure the safe delivery, evidence based, best practice food and nutritional service to all inpatients across the Townsville Hospital campus.

Role requirements
- While no formal qualifications are required, basic food hygiene knowledge and completion of or the willingness to undertake training in Certificate II in Health Care would be highly desirable.
- The appointee to this position will be required to carry out frequent and repetitive lifting and manual handling of goods.
- The position is subject to flexible roster arrangements that may include a periodic requirement for work on weekends and evenings.
