The Role
As the AM Operations Team Member 2IC you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of both inbound and outbound logistics within the Home Delivery Centre (HDC). You will manage the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and play a key role in supporting the HDC in achieving its operational goals and enhances customer satisfaction.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership and act as an escalation for the Operations team, ensuring Team Member safety, capability and performance is supported through work instruction, coaching, training and regular feedback
- Complying with compliance and policy requirements, with particular emphasis on site standards, safe work practices and incident reporting
- Achieving efficient storage utilisation, warehouse picking and put away accuracy by effective use of Warehouse Management Systems and other enabling tools / resources
- Continuously improving skills and knowledge through available online platforms and active participation in other development opportunities
Please note the AM Operations Team Member 2IC operates Monday to Friday 5:54am to 2pm.
About You
To be successful in this role you have:
- A minimum education level of Year 12 and/or relevant operational warehouse experience is required.
- At least 3 years warehouse experience.
- Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Familiar with Kazan and Lean methodologies.
- MHE Licences - LF (High reach) and an LO (Stock picker)
