As An Operations Handling Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the processing, handling and distributing all required documents in the shipping area.
- Managing and performing effective pickup arrangements.
- Ensuring customer requirements are met and documents are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervising Transactional Operations in the forwarding area
- Minimum two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry and/or customs industry.
- Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational roles (advantageous)
- Previous experience in team lead/ leadership / supervisory positions (advantageous)
- Relevant Tertiary qualification i.e., Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Logistics, or Industry related fields. (Advantageous)
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner.
