As An Operations Handling Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating the processing, handling and distributing all required documents in the shipping area.
• Managing and performing effective pickup arrangements.
• Ensuring customer requirements are met and documents are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Supervising Transactional Operations in the forwarding area

Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry and/or customs industry.
• Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational roles (advantageous)
• Previous experience in team lead/ leadership / supervisory positions (advantageous)
• Relevant Tertiary qualification i.e., Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Logistics, or Industry related fields. (Advantageous)
• Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good telephone and E-mail skills
• Commercial attitude
• Good knowledge in English (verbal/written).
• Results driven and attention to details.
• High degree of written, verbal, and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical skills
