EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – OPERATIONS MANAGER
Pindari Ministries, which operates Pindari House, requires an Operations Manager to manage and lead the day-to-day operational aspects of the program which supports men who have made the decision to seek change from addiction and other life dominating issues.
The role is expected to be a full-time position, yet will be individually tailored to suit the applicant, skills, experience, and other opportunities to work in the organisation. Suitably experienced candidates seeking a part-time position are encouraged to submit an expression of interest.
Pindari House runs a long-term residential rehab program, having a mission to transform men in need into people who understand themselves, their value and achievement, and who can live a fullness of life.
Pindari delivers personalised care and restorative services for each resident. The program comprises four main components:
- Counselling & Case Management
- Spiritual Nurture & Training
- Life Skills, Education & Career
- Work Therapy
As a minimum the successful applicant will be responsible to manage:
- All day-to-day operations
- Leading the staff and volunteers
- Premises upkeep, onsite work therapy, and caretaker liaison
- Website and social media
- Volunteer role development and training
- WANADA accreditation
Additional potential responsibilities could include:
- Developing relationships with referral agencies, industry bodies, and local government
- Fundraising and sponsorship
- Identification and development of Pindari Ambassadors
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following in previous roles:
- Team leadership
- Organisational abilities
- Business management
- Relationship development
The expectation is that potential candidates hold or are working towards, or willing to obtain a Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Alcohol or other Drugs, or Mental Health.
Prior industry experience will be seen as a valuable addition.
