The RoleReporting to the General Manager of El Questro, the Emma Gorge Operation Manager's role is to ensure our Emma Gorge property continues to provide the exceptional level of guest services and experiences it has become renowned for.
As the host and key point of contact, you will be an excellent and natural communicator, genuinely enjoy connections and building professional relationships with guests, extremely well organised and have a natural rapport with our guests.

Duties- You will be the face of the property, greeting, key point of contact and fulfilling guest expectations.
- Show your passion and professionalism to your team and encourage the same, creating an outstanding culture.
- Delivery of personalised guest service to the highest standard.
- Manage a team of approx. 35 overseeing all Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and working with the Maintenance team.
- Creating a top standard service for every guest.
- Manage financials with support of GM including all staff rostering.
- Proven hospitality experience in a similar role.
- Experience with managing guest groups coming through the venue.
- Excellent time management whilst adaptable and accountable to guest's requirements.
- High level of communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of high level food offering.
- Experience in front office (highly regarded).
- Proficient with operating rooms management system, specifically RMS.
- Passion and enthusiasm for guest services.
- Strong leadership, being capable of training and developing a tight knit team.
Qualifications
- Approved Manager Card, WA Liquor Licensing (essential).
- Food Safety Certificate (essential).
- Manual/Open Driver's License (essential).
- Advanced First Aid/First Aid Certificate (essential).
- Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent (desirable).
