The Opportunity
To better deliver on Amplar Health and Medibank’s prevention ambition, our Preventative Health Operations Squad delivers a range of funded programs including Health Concierge, CareComplete, and Health & Wellbeing Checks.
As an Operations Manager leading our Intensive Behavioural Change Programs (Better Knee, Better Me ™, Heart Health at Home and Medibank Type 2 Diabetes Program) your responsibilities will be broad - overseeing the delivery of safe and high-quality care for your target customer group, driving continuous improvement initiatives for programs and service delivery as well as driving performance to meet agreed financial and performance targets. This role will lead 20-30 specialised clinicians located around Australia.
Naturally you will need to take an active leadership role in growing and nurturing referrals in and out of the Prevention Health business, in partnership with your clinical leadership peers and our dedicated business development and relationship management teams.
About You
This role suits a leader with significant operational knowledge within the healthcare sector who is committed and passionate in the space of preventative health – ideally chronic disease management practices, and /or health behaviour change methodology.
As people leader you will be accountable for your team’s goals – so we look for demonstrated experience around driving and inspiring teams (that are geographically dispersed) to reach their targets. Using your strong commercial expertise in business you will need to be comfortable around analysing and managing a P&L alongside the capability to seek and comprehend key trends/commercial imperatives and identify root causes of productive and performance (utilisation, service level performance etc…).
