Trippas White Group @ National Gallery of Australia are looking for a passionate and experienced Operations Manager to lead our front of house service team.
We currently host a variety of amazing events at National Gallery of Australia such as group bookings, cocktail parties, corporate events and weddings. The National Gallery of Australia has an epic calendar for the rest of the year; this position is a hybrid role to build and lead the FOH team, managing the daily venue operations, and overseeing all events.

The Role
- Take ownership, build and help lead the FOH team
- Deliver exceptional client and guest experiences across a diverse range of events and daily venue operations
- Help lead and manage a large team of staff
- Manage the event operations including rostering and planning plus manage events from set up, through to sequence of service, to pack down
- Work closely with the sales manager, kitchen and the venue manager
- Build strong relationships resulting in return cliental
About You
- Extensive experience across the hospitality industry, venue and events management experience is highly regarded
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse service team and venue
- Motivated by delivering an exceptional client and guest experience including a keen eye for detail
- Organised with good time management and administrative skills
- Have a can-do approach and be passionate about the industry
- Valid RSA
Availability
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and school holidays as required by the demands of the business.
