ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
With an increasing number of projects in the pipeline, we are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team and take a leading management role in the next stage of our growth throughout the Northern Territory.
Within this position, you will be responsible for the full life-cycle of our projects throughout the region. projects vary in nature, with the majority relying on strong civil construction knowledge (bulk and detailed earthworks, services, soil and water management, stockpile management).
Within this position you will be responsible for:
- Financial and commercial management within the division.
- Continued business growth and relationship building.
- Team leadership and mentoring.
- Project identification, bid management and project delivery.
About You:
You will be keen to undertake a leadership position, with a strong focus on continuing to successfully delivery positive outcomes for our clients. You will also play a key role in establishing a high performing delivery team for the region.
To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering
- 15+ years of construction experience, specialising in the management of Civil, Remediation or Environmental projects $10m+ in value.
- Contract and budget management experience.
- Demonstrated practical on-site experience.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
- High level communication and organisational skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project.
- Flexibility to work site hours, travel and a valid driver's licence.
- Must have Australian Citizenship.
