TDCA is searching for an Operations Manager to come and assist in improving and streamlining processes and procedures. This is a newly created role including management responsibilities, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of the business while adhering to government regulations, policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations of TDCA, including direct oversight of TDCA group homes, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Staff Recruitment: Lead recruitment processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-caliber staff to fulfill organizational needs and objectives.
- Staff Coordination: Work closely with the staff in managing the rosters of care for each TDCA home.
- Performance management of staff members.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, families, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Business Development: Assist in identifying and developing business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships to win new business and expand the organization’s reach.
- Financial Coordination: Work closely with the accounts department to manage budgets, ensure financial sustainability, and achieve business goals.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all operations are compliant with NDIS standards and regulations, implementing policies and procedures to maintain high levels of compliance.
- After-Hours Support: Provide flexible support to address urgent operational issues or emergencies outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience in operational management within the care sector, preferably NDIS, and with knowledge of NDIS group homes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Business acumen with experience in business development and financial management.
- In-depth knowledge of NDIS compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring record-keeping, bookkeeping and accounting procedures are followed
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
