With the purpose of “Inspire Learning “at Donash, we teach and mentor students from Reception – Year 12 students. We have more than 750 enrolled students overall and more than 50 highly passionate, qualified and experienced teaching staff from various fields.
Role Summary
We seek a highly organised and dynamic Operations Manager to lead and enhance the operations at our education centres. This newly created role involves direct supervision of the reception team, tutoring operations management, and administrative tasks oversight, all while reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations management, including managing operations across multiple centres, developing, maintaining, and enhancing operational processes and training manuals.
- Administration and reception supervision and support whilst managing the workload and responding to client enquiries.
- Strategically managing resource allocation, including staffing, materials, and technology needs.
- Team leadership and development, including managing a team of administration staff and providing support to our growing team of contractor tutors:
- Facilitating communication and professional development through regular workshops and training sessions.
- Implementing performance management processes to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
- Client and stakeholder engagement, including proactive and effective communication with parents, students, and educational partners.
- Coordinate special projects and events, assisting in the planning and executing of educational events and marketing initiatives.
- Documentation and implementation of SOPs to facilitate uniformity in business operations as the company expands.
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications Specialist with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns, social media content and posting, and overseeing promotional materials.
- Managing special course offerings such as ACER, Ignite, STEM scholarship preparation, and NAPLAN preparation classes.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
- The ability to initiate, execute and complete projects.
- Technical proficiency with school management software and Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pick up and excel using new systems and technology.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
