We are looking for a dynamic and highly driven Manager to guide a team of dedicated in-house IT team providing level 1 and 2 support for a range of hardware, operating systems.
The Role
The purpose of the ICT Operations Manager is to lead the delivery of IT services and coordinate IT support and project implementation functions across the service desk, infrastructure, business intelligence, and security areas.
You will work closely with business leaders and IT teams to define, develop and deploy IT Systems to achieve business goals, based on agreed priorities. Ensure that the IT Infrastructure and user management supports are secure and support operational requirements.
As the ICT Operations Manager, you are responsible for providing strong and effective values-based leadership to a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What you need to bring
Essential
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
- Valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
- Minimum of 5 years of expertise in IT management of infrastructure
- Substantial experience in the management of IT operations, technology, people, processes, and information
- Project management experience delivering infrastructure from selection or design to implementation
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the common policy and procedural requirements for the effective operation of an IT support function including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Asset Management
- IT Change Management
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience
- Demonstrated sound interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Some work outside of standard hours may be required
- Ability to take on-call responsibilities when required
- Current driver’s license and willingness to drive in the course of work
Desirable
- Relevant Information Technology qualifications or MBA
- Management experience in a non-government setting
- ITIL Intermediate Certification
