Operations Manager Wa

Exciting opportunity for an exceptional senior level people leader to take the next step in their retail journey with us!

Reporting to the General Manager - Supermarket Operations (SANTWA), you will be an integral part of the State Leadership Team, delivering strong business performance through the implementation of strategic plans in line with our objectives, whilst ensuring operational excellence through leading, coaching and motivating a team of Group Managers in Western Australia.

You will lead a zone stretching from Perth city, expanding right across our northern region (including regional and remote locations). This role is large in scale with accountability for the engagement of a diverse and inclusive team of approximately 6000 team members across 53 stores with multi-million dollar weekly trade. There would need to be a willingness to travel to stores in remote areas, with occasional interstate travel required.

We're looking for our next influential and transformational leader with the following experience:

Proven multi-site capability at national, state or large regional operations management level
Extensive retail operations experience (supermarket experience would be an added bonus)
Accountability for a comparable retail operation (>$100M annual sales) with proven experience in delivery of business results
Ability to build, coach, motivate and inspire large, inclusive operational teams
Strong engagement and influencing skills with executive presence
Evidence of implementing and supporting change practices
Commercial acumen and the ability to interpret, prioritise and guide effective business outcomes
Strategic contribution at a state or national level with proven success
Transformational approach to leadership with an emphasis on taking initiative in service delivery
