Position Objective
As our Operations Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our production, warehousing, and logistics operations. Your expertise in capacity planning, scheduling, and team leadership will ensure our production team delivers exceptional results consistently.
Inventory is your area of expertise: A precise eye for planning and detail will be critical to expertly control stock, and provide useful reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
You will be responsible for overseeing our manufacturing in China, and our amazing team in China.
A Day in the Life:
Lead and Inspire: Oversee and coordinate the production function, including embroidery and screen printing, while managing vendor relationships and negotiating as necessary.
Optimise and Innovate: Maintain data for reporting production and sales, troubleshoot with the sales team, and ensure production processes are cost-effective and efficient.
Strategise and Execute: Manage the production schedule to meet customer demand, monitor product standards, and coordinate with subcontractors for high-priority products or overflow jobs.
Data and Reporting: Using our systems, capture relevant data and provide meaningful reports to customers and leadership to drive decision making.
Inventory control and stock management: Maintain accurate stock levels to meet customer demand and balance commercial risk.
Collaborate and Resolve: Work closely with the sales team to meet customer expectations, monitor stock availability, and ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
Ensure Excellence: Prepare monthly reports, ensure work health and safety standards, and supervise and motivate team members, identifying training needs along the way.
What You Bring:
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role with experience managing end-to-end production processes.
Skills: Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and a knack for troubleshooting and optimizing processes.
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification or relevant knowledge, training, and/or experience.
