RISE is the newly created Reporting and Incident Support @Endeavour team that will provide essential support in managing incidents effectively and ensuring accurate reporting.
As the Operations Risk & Compliance Lead you will support the Operations Risk & Compliance Manager in the effective operation and reporting processes of the RISE team, you will play a critical role in the development and continuous improvement of the RISE team through supporting the Operations Risk & Compliance Manager. This position will also support the Operations Risk & Compliance Manager in Operational resilience and Crisis and Emergency Management.

Here’s a snapshot of the Operations Risk & Compliance Lead responsibilities:
- Assist in managing business continuity risk and strategies for our brands to enhance operational resilience for Endeavour.
- Aid in the development and implementation of crisis management plans, including conducting simulations to prepare for and respond to crises and disruptions effectively.
- Support in the creation and governance of business continuity plans to manage crises and disruptions efficiently.
- Collaborate on building and maintaining an incident management platform to streamline incident reporting, tracking, and resolution processes.
- Assist and aid in managing a team of Incident Specialists to handle incidents promptly and effectively.
- Support efforts to ensure compliance with the Retail Drinks Australia Online Code of Conduct.
- Aid in leveraging trading data to enhance operational risk and compliance oversight for Endeavour.
- Support the efficient operation and reporting process of the group Emergency Management Team (EMT) and provide assistance to the Crisis Management Team (CMT).
- Establish detailed reports and provide insightful analysis to support the Reporting and Incident Support team in their incident management efforts and strategic decision-making, sharing findings with the broader business.
- Collaborate with key partners, including 3PLs, suppliers, and contractors, to maintain compliance standards and promptly escalate any quality and compliance concerns.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- Experience in operations, risk management, or compliance roles (minimum of 2-3 years).
- Strong understanding of business continuity planning and crisis management principles.
- Experience in assisting with the development and implementation of crisis management plans, including conducting simulations.
- Familiarity with incident management processes and platforms to streamline reporting and resolution.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to support the management of incidents and crisis situations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in analysing trading data and utilising insights to enhance operational risk and compliance oversight.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information and support team members.
- Demonstrated commitment to responsibility, sustainability, and community impact in previous roles or projects.
- The ability to effectively navigate and lead through ambiguous situations.
- An inspiring leadership style, embodying the values of diversity and inclusion, fostering the development of future leaders.
- A resilient, composed nature when under pressure.
- Availability to work 1 weekend out of 4.
