Northparkes uses multiple mining methods including open pit, sub-level caving and was the first mine in Australia to use the block cave mining method. About the role
Our team has an opportunity for a Mining Accountant within the Commercial Management department reporting to the Senior Management Accountant.
You will join a team who complete and support financial and management accounting activities. This will include department cost accounting, business budgeting and planning activities, financial reporting and reconciliation. Alongside providing support and expertise to both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent full-time role working on a Monday - Friday roster based in the Parkes region of NSW.
About you
- Bachelors with a major in Accounting or Commerce or studying for qualification.
- Accounting experience in a medium sized company
- Experienced in accounting software, SAP experience highly regarded
- CPA or CA qualification or study towards qualification highly desirable
- Current drivers' licence
