As an Operations Manager of our wholesale warehouse , you will develop strong customer relationships and act as the face of the company at the store level. You will also ensure in-store promotions & new line activities are achieved, with the ability to manage and negotiate front display space and, most importantly, achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key responsibilities:
Achievement of sales, building new business, increasing distribution, achieving profitability, increasing market share, communicating with field teams, and developing and executing promotional programs for independent accounts.
- Managing Staff , Customer Sales , Stock take , FMCG Product , including promotions,
- Building key customer relationships across various levels of stakeholders.
- Servicing, growing and being responsible for the long-term relationship of your customers.
- Merchandising of stock including display set-up.
- Stock ordering.
- Achieving sales targets. Wages and Profit and loss KPI"s
Key requirements:
- To be successful in this role you will have at least 3 years of FMCG, RETAIL Operations , Warehouse Management experience selling fresh produce/food/ beverages to independent retailers.
- You will also have an unbeatable entrepreneurial spirit that is self-motivating and positive about all outcomes and solutions.
- You will generate innovative ideas and think outside the box to explore unconventional solutions.
- A current valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Prior FMCG sales experience- at least 3 years.
- A proven track record in successfully managing and growing a portfolio of independent retail customers.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
- Team player attitude - work with your fellow Sales team in the warehouse to improve results.
