The Opportunity
Operations Supervisor in Cleanaway no two days are the same! Be prepared for a little bit of this and a little bit of that from managing your driving team to speaking with customers interacting with the sales team you will enjoy the variety!
- Coordinate and schedule day to day operations of drivers runs
- Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
- Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
- Lead high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve and service issues
- Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of collection runs and service delivery
- Manage and prepare detailed reports
- Lead performance management investigations and outcome
About You
You ideally will have a logistics background with HR licence would be advantageous
- Be approachable, have good people skills
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
- Moderate experience within the transport / waste / logistics and recycling industries desirable
- Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently
- Intermediate excel and Word experience
