Advanced Traffic Management - Trading as Makesafe Traffic Management (SA) is one of the Industry Leading Traffic Management Companies in South Australia. Due to being awarded new contracts and gaining additional works we are looking to appoint an Operations Supervisor / Project Manager to join our Team in South Australia based in our depot in Wingfield.
Our business has grown steadily over the past five years. In this time we have achieved significant growth.
The role of Operation Supervisor / Project Manager is an important role within our business. We would like to secure the services of an individual with considerable experience either in the Traffic Management Industry, Construction or Road Safety Industries.
The Operation Supervisor / Project Manager will work with a portfolio of existing clients – looking after the day to day Traffic Management requirements and identifying opportunities for growth of the business, ensuring that the business continues to grow and maintain its position as a leader in our industry.
You will report directly to the General Manager.
We offer the right candidate an attractive remuneration package including salary, superannuation and fully maintained company vehicle.
Applicants with direct Traffic Management experience will be well preferred, however we are keen to onboards the right person to work in with our current Operations team.
We are willing to provide further training to the successful applicant to increase their already extensive on road traffic management and/or civil experience.
Applicants currently working in the fields of Asphalt, Road Construction, Road Authority, Council or Utility providers with Traffic Control experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The Operations Supervisor / Project Manager would be responsible for:
- Managing clients day to day traffic control requirements
- Seeking out new opportunities and responding to potential client inquiries
- Applying for permits
- Site meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Roster Management and Allocating Staff
- Field Auditing
- Assisting the other Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Participating in After Hours call roster
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain:
- Current Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Qualifications
- Current OHS (White) Card
- First Aid
- Drivers Licence
- Safety and Leadership Training
Skills and experience
Skills to include:
- Ability to develop relationships with new clients
- Must be able to manage a wide range of personalities
- Business growth and network opportunities
- Can Do Attitude-Proactiveness
- Use Software Systems to enter jobs, obtain permits and roster jobs & staff
- Traffic Plan Drafting (not essential but must be willing to be trained)
