SalaryWe require a Operations Support Assistant to join our Melbourne-based Chemistry team. This is an entry-level role, and involves preparing and testing samples using the relevant processes and methods.
Duties may include:
- Preparing and grouping samples for testing in the microbiology laboratory,
- Media preparation,
- Complying with Symbio Laboratories quality, safety and other systems,
- Sample pick up and registration,
- Housekeeping and general laboratory duties.
ABOUT YOU:
- Qualifications in microbiology and/or a laboratory science or related field would be desirable,
- Ideally, a Certificate II in Sampling and Measuring, or a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.
- Flexibility to work rosters that meet business demands. This is essential as our laboratory operates 7 days per week.
