Form of workJoin the Tropicana team as an Experienced Excavator Operator and be responsible for operating a variety of 600t excavators in a production mining environment. This role requires a level of proficiency in operating different machinery to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

2:1 night/day roster
$62.00 - $65.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
7% market uplift allowance - paid quarterly
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role in an open-cut mining environment
- Extensive experience operating 250 tonne+ excavators in production mode, preferably on one of the following
- CAT 6060 or 6040, Hitachi 5600 excavators or equivalent
- CAT 6060 Face Shovel
- Demonstrated experience operating variety of ancillary equipment
- Physically fit for the demands of the role
- Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
