About The Role
An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced Operator Maintainer at our Gunnedah CHPP. The CHPP Operator Maintainer is responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining the Coal Handling Preparation Plant.
What You’ll Do
- Operating various machinery including loaders & dozers with manual maintenance work
- Assist in resolution of mechanical issues relating to performance and availability
- Undertake inspections ensuring all equipment is operating to the correct standards
- Comply with all safety and PPE requirements and promoting mine safety
- Variety of team based and autonomous duties involving plant operation and maintenance work
What You’ll Bring
- Recognised Qualifications in Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker trade (essential)
- 5 Years’ experience in a coal mine (desirable)
- Experience in safe efficient operations and maintenance of Coal Handling and Preparation Plants
- Ability to work fortnightly weekends
