Join the team as an Ophthalmology Registrar at Flinders Medical Centre and help support our commitment to quality patient care!
About the Role:
In this role, you will assess and initiate therapy for patients with Ophthalmological problems in a range of both general and subspecialty Ophthalmology clinics. This work will be supported by senior colleagues. Duties also include a number of managerial tasks such as (but not exclusively) organisation of registrar rotas, grand rounds etc. There will be a supervised surgical component, by arrangement depending on the department’s requirements.
About you:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Experience in the management of general medical patients.
- Have completed 4 years of the RANZCO accredited training or equivalent.
- Awareness of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
