Key requirements
The successful candidate will be experienced in the telecommunications industry and able to demonstrate a broad range of competencies, including;
- Must have Optical Fibre Splicing Experience
- Working in live fibre networks
- Internal Cabling
- Assessing installation requirements
- Planning and performing installations
- Prep & splicing of FTPs & joints
- OTDR, power meter & light source fibre optic commissioning
- Fault finding & rectification works
Our Fibre Technicians must;
- Have an open cable licence
- Have an Australian Drivers Licence and own a car
- Have a Construction Induction – White card
- Work well independently and in a team environment
- Physically Fit
- Willing and able to travel for work as required
- Have or can obtain police checks
- Have or able to get Working with Children Check
- Be hardworking & reliable
- Honesty and Integrity
