a diverse clientele and be a key player in a trusted local business known for its exceptional service and innovative approach to eyewear.🤲 About the roleWe have a full-time opportunity or two part-time opportunities for an experienced Retail Sales Assistant to join our tight-knit team. Our clientele is proactive with their optical care, and as a team we work together to offer exceptional customer experiences. This involves, but is not limited to:

• Patient Assistance and Sales: Providing attentive service to all clients assisting them in selecting their eyeglasses and lenses based on their prescriptions. Offering tailored advice on frame designs that best suit their lifestyle, and personal flair. Demonstrating genuine care for their comfort and happiness. Finalising transactions, ensuring clients feel confident and satisfied with their eyewear choices.
• Administration Tasks: Efficiently handling orders, appointment bookings and client enquiries with a friendly and professional demeanour. Ensuring accurate scheduling and prompt responses to client needs, contributing to a positive overall experience.
• Maintaining Practice Presentation: Keeping the practice clean, organised, and visually appealing. Assist with creating attractive merchandise displays that enhance the client experience and reflect the high standards of the practice. Be part of the team that curates the range that we showcase.
• Stock Lists for Marketing Purposes: Assisting with the creation and maintenance of stock lists for marketing purposes. Keeping up-to-date with inventory to support effective marketing strategies and ensure the availability of popular products.

🙌 Our ideal candidateTo be successful in the role you require:

• Experience in Retail: At least 2 years retail experience. Experience in

the Optical Retail space is a bonus but certainly not a deal-breaker.
We’re looking for strong sales skills and the right attitude. * Sales Skills: A love of sales. Proficiency in selling high-end optical frames, lenses, and sunglasses. Ability to balance optometry services with retail objectives. We will train you on-the-job in the technical and styling knowledge.

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. Ability to convey clear and positive communication, showing care and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional customer service skills, reflecting the ethos of the business.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when dealing with prescriptions and managing appointment bookings and enquiries. Precision is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction in a detail-oriented profession.
• Technical Proficiency: Commitment to maintaining and extending knowledge through professional development and association. Curiosity and a passion for staying updated with the latest innovations in frames, lenses, technology, and trends. We improve people’s vision and enjoy being good at it.
• Reliability: Punctuality and consistency in attendance. Dependability in both individual and team contexts, is crucial for a bricks-and-mortar business.
• Self-Motivation: Strong self-motivation and a reliable work ethic. Willingness to contribute proactively to the team, ensuring collective success.

Work HoursFull-time: Tuesday-Saturday 10.00am-6.00pm and Saturday 10.00am-3.00pmPart-time roles x 2: Tuesday-Saturday (2 days and 3 days)We are closed on Sundays and Mondays👍 The Benefits
