Who we’re looking for:

Implement and provide technical expertise on building optimisation experiences for the direct sales channel, and support in developing digital analytics tagging solutions across Virgin Australia's digital platforms. You will ensure implementation best practice, accurate tracking and creating better online experiences for our customers. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implement optimisation experiences across Virgin Australia assets to achieve business outcomes and objectives.
  • Help manage and be the SME in optimisation tools such as Adobe Target.
  • Support the development and help build optimisation backlogs that will form the Test and Learn roadmap.
  • Execute on optimisation efforts across different squads to develop test experiences to improve conversion funnels.
  • Design, implement and document customised analytics digital tagging & tracking solutions for digital content.
  • Write custom JavaScript & HTML code to develop tagging implementation and governing 3rd party marketing tags within Tag Management Platforms such as Tealium iQ.
  • Support in driving best practice for coding, implementation and data integration workflows across MarTech platforms.

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

  • Experience in CRO and digital tagging implementation (essential).
  • Experience building and implementing A/B, Multivariate testing & Personalisation experiences.
  • Technical experience in frontend development and applying it to experiment builds & digital tagging.
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools to analyse customer journeys.
  • Background in retail/eCommerce environments.
  • Proven abilities in qualitative & quantitative research methods using statistical concepts.
  • Coding and practical application of HTML, CSS, JavaScript code and responsive web principles.
  • Proven skills with Adobe Target or similar optimisation platforms.
  • Experience with Tag Management & similar MarTech platforms, as well as Digital Analytics implementation & tagging solutions.
  • Tealium iQ Knowledge.
  • Understanding of experimentation concepts & principles to create engaging customer experiences.
  • Strong understanding of the current MarTech landscape and associated tools, platforms and practices.
  • Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and CMS and website management tools.
  • Interest in CX and UX designs and innovation
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Design Computing, Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing.
