Skills and Experience

You must be willing to:
- learn how to book appointments,
- bill spectacles/consultations,
- answer the phone,
- take payments, and
- conduct pretesting and frame repairs if needed.
- Completed Australian/New Zealand or equivalent nationally accepted Optometry Degree.
- Therapeutic Endorsement.
- OA Membership/Indemnity Insurance, or equivalent required indemnity insurance.
- Available three days per week Monday to Wednesday 8:30am-5pm with the potential to move to full time in the future, if desired.
- You enjoy working with people and are willing to modify examinations and conduct to suit the ability of your patients.
- You are willing to step in and assist in any role if you are not already occupied with your primary role of optometric care.
We have a growing dry eye clinic due to the owner's special interest in that area and a team that is excited about learning new things and contributing to the evolution of this practice.

Most of our reception/dispenser team members have been part of our team for an extended period.
