- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for all state-wide corporate applications hosted on Oracle Engineered Systems, as well as cloud platforms.
- Lead and manage the planning, delivery and support of critical and highly complex solutions to achieve organisational initiatives.
- Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of corporate solutions including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures to achieve the success of the project/s.
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider Health agencies and relevant external agencies.
- Provide strategic advice about the feasibility and suitability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance.
- Extensive technical experience in managing Oracle applications, including the eBusiness suite.
- Extensive technical experience in advance cloning techniques, patching and upgrade of Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business suite.
- Extensive experience with the design and delivery of Oracle based solutions leveraging Oracle engineered systems as well as cloud platforms.
- Proven understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Application Manager, RMAN and Oracle Recovery Appliance, and the touch points between Oracle e-Business suite and other products such as Endeca, WebCenter & Oracle Identity Suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Oracle FMW suite of products, including one or more of the following: Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL,OSB), Oracle Identity Management (OID, OAM and OIM), Oracle Business Intelligence (BI), Oracle WebCenter (WCC).
- Superior experience and a record of achievement in planning, leading and managing critical, highly complex technical solutions in a large and complex service industry organisation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the architecture as well as operational aspects of the e-Business suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
