SalaryEden Ritchie is seeking an Oracle Support Developer to support, maintain and enhance its line of business systems. The position is the primary Oracle Forms, Reports and APEX support for Division.The successful candidate will be working in a small agile team environment along with other team members, including business analysts, developers and Subject Matter Experts. They will utilise the Division’s development standards and practices.

- Undertake the activities of systems analysis, systems design, programming and testing in an Oracle environment, primarily using Oracle database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports and Oracle APEX
- Perform systems analysis and design in relation to the enhancement of existing systems.
- Support and maintain Division’s Oracle technical environment
- Undertake Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms/Reports application and database releases
- Provide timely and expert advice on application development maintenance and support issues
- Assist in the development and evaluation of plans and strategies that meet the organisation’s long term technical requirements
- Contribute to the development of project plans including resource, budget and activities and assist in the preparation of feasibility studies for proposed projects
- Develop and implement appropriate standards and documentation for effective and efficient computer systems and monitor ongoing use
- Provide high quality client service to the Unit’s customers in the areas of information management, technology development and initiatives
- Encourage an environment in which high quality services are delivered through fostering adherence to the quality system documentation, continually seeking improvements in the way in which work is undertaken and leading by example
- Translate and interpret system requirements that are in the form of Epics, Features and User Stories
- Work with project team including developers, architects, data and technical subject matter experts and business subject matter experts to develop agreed functionality
- Undertake Oracle APEX application configuration, SQL, PL/SQL package/procedure based programming, database object modelling, performance tuning for custom extensions, data conversions, data reporting and interface development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standards, guidelines, strategies and processes to ensure the effective and efficient development of APEX applications
- Comply with all aspects of the Division Software Development Life Cycle and the ability to follow through to code implementation, including Unit Testing and ongoing support
- Provide attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of projects are necessary
- 5+ years’ experience as a senior developer responsible for developing and supporting commercial grade application using Oracle Forms and Reports, particularly versions 11g – 12c, and Oracle APEX 18+
- Demonstrated experience working with Oracle Databases, particularly versions 11g – 18c
- Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.

- Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a distributed project environment
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues
- Demonstrated good oral communication skills, stakeholder interaction skills and collaborative team working
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, working on a variety of work streams concurrently
- Demonstrated experience in working with tools including MS Teams and Atlassian JIRA
- Demonstrated experience with source code repositories such as Git and Subversion
- HTML5/ CSS knowledge
