Oral Health Therapist

Great Alpine Dental in Myrtleford (VIC) a DSD certified Practice. We perform a lot of complex multidisciplinary dentistry. We have a big focus on risk management prior to embarking on complex restorative work. OHI and preventative care therefore are a cornerstone of our philosophy. For this we have OHTs who manage our therapy, hygiene, implant maintenance, aligners etc.
One of our lovely OHTs has to move interstate due to family reasons and we are looking for someone to fill her shoes.
You will be able to:
1. Perform your entire scope of work.
2. Have a DA support you.
3. A cohesive small team with well-established systems.
4. Have access to the latest in technology i.e. airflow, perioflow etc.
5. No late nights or weekends.
6. Ability to choose days and hours.
Great Alpine Dental is located 30 min drive from the major rural city of Wangaratta and 50 mins from Wodonga in beautiful Myrtleford in the Alpine Region of Victoria. The 2.5 hr drive from Melbourne is straightforward on the Hume highway if you do want a weekend in the city.
The region is famous for its vineyards, 4 seasons, beautiful deciduous flora, gourmet food regions like Milawa, King Valley with award winning restaurants. And of course, winter sports in the ski resorts. The Alpine Shire and Indigo Shire offer a great lifestyle, with beautiful hikes, bike trails, paragliding, fine dining and of course skiing but most of all grateful patients. Wangaratta is a major regional town 2.5-hour northeast from Melbourne on the Hume Hwy which can serve your base for an easy commute to the practice.
