Bass Coast Health is the major public healthcare provider within the Bass Coast Shire in South Gippsland. The service has provided quality service and care for residents of the Bass Coast Shire for over 100 years. It is an integrated health service providing a range of acute, sub-acute, ancillary medical, aged and ambulatory care services. The 58 bed hospital is fully equipped to offer a broad range of specialist medical, surgical and obstetric services including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, paediatrics, urology and rehabilitation.
Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Oral Health Therapist to join our busy 5-chair regional Dental Clinic that services eligible South Gippsland clients. As a member of the team you will play an important role in providing dental care within the scope of publically funded dental services. This role also has a wide scope for career development and professional growth, and mentorship provided.

Requirements of the position are:
Oral Health qualification eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia Continuing Professional Development requirements met as per the Dental Board of Australia High level of understanding of dental public health principles Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form and well-developed interpersonal skills Radiation operating license in Victoria Dental Therapy Adult Scope of Practice (desirable) Valid Police Check Working with Children Check
