About the role:
We are seeking an Orderly Attendant to join our diverse, closeknit Central Sterile Services team at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. A critical role to RDHM’s operations, if you enjoy being busy, have great people skills and value supporting others, this could be the job for you!
Your key responsibilities include:
- Transporting clinical instruments from the clinics to the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) for sterilisation / processing via trolleys.
- Cleaning handheld clinical equipment.
- Ensuring infection control of trolleys and related equipment.
- Transport medically stable patients through areas of the hospitals as needed.
A bit about you:
- You are organised and efficient.
- You work well under pressure, if required
- You value workplace diversity and teamwork.
- You enjoy interacting with others and have a customer service focus.
- You preferably have experience working in a hospital environment.
- Your knowledge of infection control is advantageous.
