ME Medical Recruitment - We are currently recruiting for a Orthopaedic PHO/Registrar for a hospital in Queensland which is a one hour flight from Brisbane at a regional city.
The Orthopaedic team comprises the Clinical Director, Staff Specialists, Senior Medical Officer, an AOA SET trainee, Principal House Officers, 2 Resident Medical Officers and Interns. Medical students from the University of Queensland rotate through the Department and there have an Orthogeriatrician working alongside them.
The theatre complex comprises 5 operating theatres and 1 procedure room and 3 operating theatres in in another two close by. The hospital also provides telehealth consultations to other various facilities.

You will assist the Director, Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons and other Senior Medical Staff, in a variety of Orthopaedic services such as elective operating, general and specialist trauma operating, elective and fracture clinics, teaching, contribution towards regular audit, M&M and departmental research.
About you:
To be successful in this role you must have
- MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board at Level 3 supervision.

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Total remuneration value of $169,083 p.a. is comprised of:
- Salary between $125,808 - $145,865 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
