Are you confident in Award Interpretation? Do you have a strong understanding of Payroll Compliance Reconciliations? Are you great with people and comfortable in a client facing role?

Our client, Workforce Analytics, has designed world-leading technologies and methodologies to help businesses unlock a superior level of performance. One of their products is in the Roster Optimisation space and the other is a SaaS product for Payroll compliance. In order to continue to build and shape these products, they are in search of an Industrial Relations (IR) Consultant to join the team.

This is a project management role which would suit candidates with skills and experience in either HR /Industrial Relations, Payroll, or even someone with a legal qualification and experience with employment law.

A key part of the role with be focused on supporting the Pay Review side of the business. As the IR Expert, you lead and guide the business on complex Award and EBA interpretation.

Key responsibilities here will include (but not be limited to):

  • Working collaboratively with the Sales team to confirm the best fit model and solution for our clients
  • Managing clients from initial sales calls, to running demonstrations, and assisting with onboarding
  • Being accountable for remediation and management of projects including scoping, costing, and liaising with clients to ensure their payroll is compliant
  • Support the in house technical team to design and test new software capability as it relates to Pay Review that is fit for market
  • Creating training collateral and product templates for demonstrations.

You will also get to work with a large range of companies and industries, from Fast-Food, Retail, and FMCG Groups through to the Disability Sector and Aged Care.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working within a HR or IR position
  • Knowledge and experience with Industrial Relations and Award interpretation
  • Payroll remediation experience
  • Exceptional project management, communication and influencing skills
  • A strong customer service focus, and confidence when communicating with colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with clients, educating and building relationships to get outcomes
  • Problem solving capabilities to drive decision making
  • A history of delivering successful projects on time, on budget, and with accuracy
  • An interest in working with and interpreting data
