  • Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Lyell McEwin Hospital – Elizabeth Vale
  • Total Indicative Remuneration: $346,650 - $778,921 p.a. (pro rata)– MD2 - Temporary Full-Time – working 26.25 hours per week, up to 18 months

About You:

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Orthopaedic Surgeon within the Orthopaedics Department.

As an Orthopaedic Surgeon you will be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to you in collaboration with the responsible Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, fellow Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals.

In this role you will undertake general orthopaedic and trauma surgery and participate in the on-call roster

A key component of this role is involvement in Continuous Quality Improvement activities including audit and department meetings and continuing education activities.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
