Our OSH Engagement Educators work in before and after school care, and vacation care, planning and implementing activities for young people. Bring your passion and enthusiasm to create exciting sessions that assist in developing life skills.
Hours of work are 6.30-9am for before school care and 2.30pm-6.30pm for after school care with the flexibility of working split shifts or working either before or after school care. During school holidays you have the option to pick up full days of work in vacation care.
You can choose your hours to fit in with your personal life, creating a very accommodating work/life balance or the perfect role to complement studying.
Our services operate across the Penrith LGA in both purpose built services and on school sites.

Casual employees
- $36.22 to $41.93 per hour + 11% superannuation + up to $50 per week split shift allowance

Essential Criteria:
- Experience or willingness to work and engage with young people (5-12 years old)
- WWCC (or will to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams as well as work independently
Desirable Criteria:
- Completed or working towards a qualification in a relevant field (Childcare, Sport & Recreation, Youth Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Community Services, Health)
- Current LR Driver Licence (or willing to obtain)
- Child Protection Certificate - Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain)
This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.
This position requires the worker to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or to hold a medical contraindication certificate.
