Unique entry level OSHC Management opportunity within the education sector! Assist in leading a team of Educators with support & training provided. Develop your leadership skills!

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Woollahra Helping Hands Network, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 15 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating ours of Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 5:30pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the role 

You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus a Regional Manager who regularly visits to mentor you at your service to assist you and your team to:

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
